Alleged Hitman Caught In Delaware County: US Marshals
Tyvine Jones, 25, is accused of acting as a hitman in three Philadelphia killings for the Blumberg" gang, according to federal officials.

LANSDOWNE, PA — Federal authorities in Delaware County apprehended a man accused of acting as a hitman for a Philadelphia gang who they said was responsible for killings in Philadelphia.
The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force said Tyvine Jones, 25, was taken into custody Wednesday morning at an apartment complex on Lansdowne Avenue in Lansdowne.
According to authorities, Jones was a member and alleged hitman of the "Blumberg" gang. He was wanted for three separate Philadelphia murders, authorities said.

The killings took place in August 2020 in the 2200 block of West Diamond Street, May 2022 in the 1600 block of Erie Avenue, and September 2022 in the 1600 block of Creston Street. The victims were 16 years old, 20 years old, and 23 years old, and all died from gunshot wounds.
Investigators at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday surrounded the Stratford Court Apartments where Jones was believed to hiding after getting numerous tips regarding his whereabouts.

Jones surrendered to investigators and was taken into custody without incident. He was then transported to the Philadelphia Homicide Detective Division for processing.
"Tyvine Jones was one of Philadelphia’s 'Most Wanted' for his role in the murder of three individuals between 2020 and 2022," Eric Gartner, United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, said. "Together with our Philadelphia PD and other partners, our commitment to the citizens of Philadelphia remains steadfast: the relentless pursuit of violent fugitives such as Tyvine Jones, whose unrestrained existence serves only to diminish our great city."
