Assault, Fraud, Theft, More: Haverford Crime Blotter
A 45-year-old woman from Havertown was arrested on charges of simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct, police said.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police released details on recent crimes in the township in their latest crime blotter.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

Incidents
- Fraud at the 2500 block of Haverford Road on Nov. 5 at 10:21 a.m. – The victim reported that a check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
- Retail Theft at Wine and Spirits, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 6 at 5:09 p.m. – The store manager reported that an unknown woman stole $99.99 worth of alcohol.
- Fraud at Conoco Gas Station, 1200 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 6 at 7:29 p.m. – The victim reported that the pump processed a $150 charge without dispensing fuel. She stated that she paid $27 for the fuel she pumped and paid inside the store.
- Liquor Law Violation at Pennview Avenue and Laurel Road on Nov. 7 at 12:37 a.m. – Multiple juveniles were cited for underage drinking, and a 17-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court. Bicycle Theft at the unit block of Tunbridge Road on Nov. 7 at 4:21 p.m.
- Fraud at Haverford College, 300 block of Lancaster Avenue, on Nov. 9 at 9:49 p.m. – The victim reported that he received an email from a person claiming to be a professor. The email listed several items for donations for a professor who has recently retired. The items were listed as free, with $200 to cover shipping. The victim sent $200 via CHIME. The victim became skeptical when they requested more money for insurance.
- Liquor Law Violation at Bailey Park, 300 block of Virginia Avenue, on Nov. 7 at 8:26 p.m. – Multiple juveniles were cited for underage drinking, and a 16-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court.
- Public Drunkenness at the 600 block of Penfield Avenue on Nov. 11 at 1:01 a.m. – 33-year-old female, unit block of Jeffrey Road, Aldan was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
- Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on Nov. 11 at 7:49 p.m. – Two credit cards and a sim card from a cell phone were stolen from a locker. Multiple unauthorized purchases were made with the credit cards.

- 32-year-old male, unit block of Midfield Lane, Willingboro, New Jersey. Charges: Retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike). Date: Nov. 5 at 7:07 p.m.
- 42-year-old male, 2900 block of Kensington Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road). Date: Nov. 5 at 8:05 p.m.
- 33-year-old male, Homeless. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road). Date: Nov. 5 at 8:05 p.m.
- 46-year-old male, 500 block of Wales Road, Havertown. Charges: Contempt for violation of order. Location: 500 block of Wales Road. Date: Nov. 9 at 1:19 a.m.
- 45-year-old female, 200 block of Kathmere Road, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Location: 200 block of Kathmere Road. Date: Nov. 9 at 7:33 p.m.
- 16-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Purchase alcohol beverage by a minor, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Bailey Park, 300 block of Virginia Avenue. Date: Nov. 7 at 8:26 p.m.
- 17-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Represent that minor is of age, purchase alcohol by minor and failure to stop at red signal. Location: Pennview Avenue and Laurel Road. Date: Nov. 7 at 12:37 p.m.
