Burglary, Fraud, Identity Theft, More: Haverford Crime Blotter
Haverford Township Police said a home on the 1300 block of Northrup Road was burglarized sometime last week. See the full blotter here.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police released details on recent crimes in the township.
These incidents happened between Nov. 14 and Nov. 18.
The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued.

- Retail Theft at Wine and Spirits, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 14 at 5:25 p.m. – An unknown male stole a bottle of tequila worth $40.
- Theft at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on Nov. 15 at 3:55 p.m. – The victim reported that his Apple air pods were stolen from a bench in the locker room.
- Identity Theft at the 100 block of Wyndmoor Road on Nov. 16 at 8:58 a.m.– The victim received a phone call from Verizon about an unauthorized purchase of an iPhone. She was advised to transfer money to her credit card for reimbursement. The victim recognized the scam after she transferred over $9,772.28.
- Fraud at the 2300 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue on Nov. 16 at 2:23 p.m. – The victim reported six fraudulent transactions with her debit card.
- Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Nov. 16 at 12:09 a.m. – A group of juveniles stole miscellaneous items.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Nov. 17 at 10:24 a.m. – An unknown female stole $278.69 worth of merchandise. The same female attempted to steal $168.88 on a separation occasion.
- Burglary at the 1300 block of Northrup Road on Nov. 18 at 10:06 a.m. – The victim reported that the residence has been vacant due to renovations. He discovered copper pipes removed and food and belongings scattered throughout the house.
- Fraud at the 1600 block of Delmont Avenue on Nov. 18 at 4:12 p.m. – The victim received a text message from a person claiming to be from her bank. They advised her that her debit card was compromised. The victim provided them with her social security number before recognizing the scam.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Nov. 18 at 6:01 p.m. – The loss prevention officer dropped off five retail theft reports. The same unknown male committed five retail thefts by under ringing his merchandise. The total loss is $517.93.
Arrests
- 42-year-old male, 600 block of Haverford Road, Ardmore. Charges: Simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Location: 600 block of Haverford Road. Date: Nov. 15 at 9:40 a.m.
