Kelly Music For Life Awarded $40K By Phillies Charities
The Havertown music organization received a cut of more than $1.2 million in grants from Phillies Charities.
HAVERTOWN, PA — A local music non-profit group was named the beneficiary of the charitable arm of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Phillies Charities recognized Kelly Music For Life as a 2025 Community Hero recently.
As a result, the Havertown based non-profit was awarded a grant of $40,000.

Phillies Charities, Inc. is awarding over $1.2 million in grants, with each nonprofit organization receiving a $40,000 grant to aid in their efforts to make a difference.
"In celebration of our Season of Giving, it is our honor to award over $1.2 million in grants to 35 charitable organizations who have done so much for our community," Phillies Charities, Inc. President Bonnie Clark said. "These grants, which are possible because of the exceptional support of our fans, front office employees, sponsors and players, along with their wives and significant others, will help ensure that the important work these organizations do in our community will continue."

"We are honored to be recognized by the Phillies organization for our work serving the community with Music, Arts and Education," Kelly Music for Life Chairman Tom Kelly said. "In our six years operating the Kelly Center in Havertown we have featured over 250 student performers on our stage. We are also training and hiring students interested in Audio/Video Technology and Event Management. So far, we have trained and given paid tech job opportunities to over 50 students. Our Coffee on the PATH café is training students with disabilities job skills they will need to become self-sufficient."
Community heroes are from charitable organizations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, as well as near the Phillies minor league affiliates in Clearwater, Reading and Lehigh Valley.
Organizations were recognized at the team’s Phillies Charities, Inc. Holiday Reception on Dec. 3, at Citizens Bank Park, as well as invited to the Phillies game on April 15 against the Chicago Cubs.
