Haverford FIRST FEST launched in 2021 on the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.
HAVERTOWN, PA — Saturday, Oct. 14 will mark this year iteration of the Haverford FIRST FEST Music Festival, and the event's musical lineup has been announced.
More than 20 bands and performers will take to two stages from noon to 9 p.m. on Oct. 14 at 50 E. Eagle Road in Havertown.
The event celebrates First Responders.

Angry Young Band – Pop and Rock - Billy Joel Tribute… the Northeast’s premier seven-piece band performing Billy Joel’s hit singles, concert classics, fan favorites, & deep cuts from Cold Spring Harbor through River of Dreams.
Carolyn Miller - Country Pop- Barefoot Country Music Festival 2023 on the Wildwood beach where Carolyn Miller shared the stage with Blake Shelton, Deana Carter, Darius Rucker, Kid Rock, Lainey Wilson, Lady A and many more. Influenced by Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill, along with pop icons Kelly Clarkson and Adele, New York based Carolyn Miller has used her big, powerful voice to create her own style that captures the true essence of country-pop. Miller is making a name for herself in Nashville, being tapped "One to Watch" by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and named a Next Up Now artist by CMT.
Mellow Fever – Hard Core Soft Rock – Top flight Philly musicians lead by WXPN- FM drive time DJ Dan Reed, guitarist Cliff Hillis and drummer Fred Berman, Mellow Fever specializes in blissed out sunshiney hits of the 1970’s by soft rock heavy hitters like America and Seals and Crofts.
Lisa Chavous Band – R&B, Jazz, Blues, Soul – International Vocalist, Recording Artist, Bandleader, Promoter, Songwriter, Producer and former regular performer at Chris’s Jazz Café. Lisa’s bands have performed at several Kelly festivals.
The Fractals – Alt Rock – Kevin Hanson, lead singer/songwriter, formerly of Huffamoose, has written, recorded and performed with Usher, Jay-Z, The Roots, Musiq Soulchild, and countless others. The Fractals are Kevin Hanson (guitar, vocals), Jim Stager (bass, vocals), Erik Johnson (drums, vocals) and Mike Frank (Keys, Vocals), a Philly band that has recently gotten their first add on WXPN. These guys continue to define creative songwriting and performance for the Philly region as former founding members of Huffamoose (Interscope Records). Their music is sophisticated and well performed, making a great show and drawing people every time.
Bright Kelly & The Bastion – Indie Soulternative – Bright Kelly, frontman for The Great Enough. His music has been compared to—or drawn fans of—Hozier, Gang of Youths, Counting Crows, The Avett Brothers, The Head and the Heart, and Elliott Smith.
No Irish Need Apply – Celtic Rock, Folk, Blues – Members include Retired Detectives, Philadelphia Police Sergeant and Strike Force veteran, and Chief Information Officer for the Mid-Atlantic Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network.

Leanne McGroary – Singer Songwriter - Leanne recently completed her first song, “Stupid to Think” and it will be available on all streaming platforms on August 25th! Leanne records at the Five 5 Studios in Tampa Florida.
PEEKS! – Singer/Songwriter/Artist/Poet - PEEKS! a musician from PA, with a passion for storytelling and human connection through art. With dozens of notebooks of melodies and poems, she has a countless repertoire of original pieces. She has been self-producing her own work since she was 18, building a fan base on social media and in her town playing local venues.
Jake the Myth – Comedy & Music -- Jake The Myth Smith, a comedian, actor, musician, and filmmaker based in NYC. He makes videos about things that make him chuckle, from bizarre TikTok trends to terrible movies.
Shannon Daly – Singer/Actress/Athlete – Shannon is a singer from Havertown and attends Cardinal O’Hara High School. She performs in shows and has sung the Irish National Anthem at the last two Havertown Irish Festivals. Shannon also plays Gaelic football and Camogie for the Delaware County Gaels.
The Grayson Chamber Jazz Ensemble - An ensemble of high school students performing a blend of classical and jazz music on an eclectic array of instruments. The current lineup consists of violin, cello, clarinet, trumpet, bass guitar, electric guitar, piano, and drums.
