A Special Hatboro Borough Council Public Safety Committee Meeting Will Take Place Wed.

The meeting will address sidewalks and other pedestrian improvements in certain neighborhoods throughout the borough.

HATBORO, PA — The borough council's Public Safety Committee will host a special meeting Wednesday evening to address pedestrian issues in certain areas of town.

The borough announced that the special town hall meeting, taking place Wednesday evening beginning at 7 p.m., was scheduled to discuss possible sidewalk installation and other pedestrian improvements in parts of the neighborhood.

The affected streets would be North Penn Street, Bonair Avenue, Windsor Avenue, Summit Avenue, Meadowbrook Avenue and Lancaster Avenue.

The meeting was scheduled due to numerous requests and suggestions from those living in the affected areas for sidewalks to help with pedestrian safety and flow, according to the borough, which announced the meeting via social media.

The borough says that council members had received many requests in recent months for these types of improvements to the affected neighborhoods.

The meeting will take place at Crooked Billet School, located at 101 Meadowbrook Avenue.
