Ducks, Bananas, Evening Trains and More!

There's so much to do this weekend!

1. Southampton Railroad Station Evening Photo Session

When/Where: 7 p.m. Saturday at the station, 609 2nd Street Pike, Southampton.
Why go: The event will feature antique automobiles (tentative), a DJ, folks dressed in period clothing and food. The station building and grounds will be lit by special high-wattage incandescent lighting for nighttime photography.
Cost: $10 donation

2. Go Bananas Summer Bash & SPCA Fundraiser

When/Where: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Go Bananas, 1057 Second Street Pike, Richboro
Why go: First 4 ounces of yogurt are free for everyone
4 more ounces free (max 8 ounces per person) if you bring at least 1 dry or canned cat or dog food, training treat package or non-scoopable cat litter.
Cost: Depends on how much you want and how much pet food you bring.

3. Moland House Story and Music Festival

When/Where: 1 p.m. Sunday at Historic Moland House, 1641 Old York Rd., Hartsville.
Why go: Storytellers will be sharing stories from historical to modern, sad to funny, to delight the young and the not so young.
Cost: Free

4. Delaware Canal Festival - Bristol Borough

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Friday at Lagoon Park, 601 Jefferson Ave., Bristol.
Why go: Everyone from up, down and all around the Canal is invited to participate in the Delaware Canal Festival. Individuals, families, neighborhoods, businesses and organizations are encouraged to enter. Decorations can be as simple or as elaborate as you can imagine. Cash prizes will be awarded for the most beautiful, humorous, imaginative and "typical of the Canal' entries, as well as "Peoples' Choice" and "Best in Show."
Cost: Boat Kits are $2 each or three for $5; Ducks are $5 each or three for $10. Proceeds benefit the maintenance, improvement and promotion of the Delaware Canal. 

5. Newport Fire Company Car Show

When/Where: 3 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Valley Elementary School, Bensalem.
Why go: Newport Fire Company is hosting the 2nd annual Car Show. The Show will be held in the parking lot of the Valley Elementary School. All Types of cars are welcome.
Cost: $20 registration fee per car.
