2. Friday Night Fireworks
Where/When: 9:30 p.m. Friday at W Bridge St & N Main St, New Hope, near the New Hope-Lambertville "free" bridge.
Why go:Â The New Hope and Lambertville chambers of commerce want everyone to know about Friday Night Fireworks, a spectacle of lights over the Delaware River. The 15-week summer long display occurs at 9:30 p.m. every Friday night through Labor Day weekend.
Cost: Free.
3. Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony
When/Where: 6 p.m. Friday at Playwicki Farm, 2350 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville Trevose.
Why go:Â Lower Southampton Township Veterans Advisory Council and Boy Scouts of America Troop 153 (Assumption B.V.M.) hosts this formal flag retirement ceremony to which the community is welcome to bring torn and tattered American flags to be respectfully retired.
Cost: Free.
4. Father's Day Car Show and Brunch
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Radisson Philadelphia Northeast, 2400 Old Lincoln Hwy, Feasterville Trevose.
Why go: This third annual event which benefits Philadelphia and Bensalem FOP Survivors Fund offers raffles, prizes and a great brunch.
Cost: $15 for the car show; Brunch is $28 for adults, $18 for children.Â
5. A Highlights Tour ofthe Glencairn Museum
When/Where: 2:30 p.m. Friday at the museum, 1001 Cathedral Road, Huntingdon Valley
Why go: Bring your camera because after the short video, there's a ride in the home's elevator that provides a spectacular view of the area.
Cost:Â Adults: $8; Seniors (65+) $6; Students (College + age with ID) $4; children 4 years and under free.Â
