Heat Wave Hits Bucks County This Week

Take care this week—it's going to be a hot one!

It's official: Not only does the calendar now say it's summer, the weatherman concurs. 

The National Weather Service predicts temperatures will hit the 90s mid-week in in Lower Bucks County. Today's high is expected to reach 92 degrees with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms.

Tuesday's forecast says to expect highs in the 90s with partly cloudy skies and, again, a 30 percent chance of rain. Wednesday will be equally as hot, with peak temperatures of 92 degrees and ditto on the chance of thunderstorms.

NWS predicts Thursday should be "cooler" with the high at 89, but the chance of thunderstorms goes up to 40 percent. 

They say Friday should be cooler still and that temps will drop to 84, but the chance of stormy weather goes up to 60 percent.
