The group operates 25 PJ Whelihan's restaurant and pub locations, including one in Doylestown, and five other dining concepts.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — An LLC registered to the PJW Restaurant Group, which owns PJ Whelihan’s and several other restaurant concepts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, has been approved by the courts to take over the lease of the former Iron Hill Brewery in Newtown, according to published reports.
The Philadelphia’s Inquirer is reporting that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New Jersey, which is handling the Iron Hill bankruptcy filing, approved the takeover of the lease effective Dec. 31 by an LLC registered to the PJW Restaurant Group.
The Delaware-based Iron Hill Brewery shut down operations in September when the chain declared bankruptcy and closed all of its restaurants, including its newest location at the Village at Newtown.
