Parents and students are encouraged to attend.

The following information is also posted on the North Allegheny School District web site.

The North Allegheny Senior High School will host a College Information Night on Wednesday, Oct. 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the NASH Auditorium.

This evening is designed to describe the college choices available to students and offer suggestions for starting the college selection process.

Parents and students are encouraged to attend.

Representatives from Vanderbilt University, Thiel College, Carnegie Mellon University, Penn State University and Edinboro University will be available to answer questions.

Representatives from the NASH school counseling office will also offer some insight specifically into our school’s process and timeline for post-secondary planning. You will hear answers to questions such as:
• How do I choose the right college?
• What should I say in my essay?
• What admission tests do I need to take and what score do I need (ACT/SAT)?
• How do I apply online?
• What classes should I take in high school?
• Whom should I ask to write a letter of recommendation?

For more information, please call the NASH School Counseling Office at 724-934-7221 or 724-934-7224.
