Berkeley Hills Fire Company Firefighter Dies

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — The Berkeley Hills Fire Company has announced the death of firefighter Dalton Minerd.

The announcement was made Christmas night on social media.

"Dalton was a huge asset to Berkeley Hills Fire Company, for several years Dalton drove for 5 days a week during the daylight hours," the post stated. "Countless hours of staffing, helping with apparatus maintenance, stocking the pop machine, and getting the rigs out the door. Dalton, we will miss you."

The fire company said it will pass along arrangements when they are finalized.
