NH High & Middle Schools Going High-Tech With Absence Reporting

Beginning in January, parents will be able to make changes to a student's attendance status by going online or using their mobile phone.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — The North Hills School District will be rolling out School Dismissal Manager at North Hills High School and North Hills Middle School for the second semester of the school year.

Already used in district elementary schools, School Dismissal Manager allows parents to make changes to a student’s attendance status through a web browser or iOS or Android app, making it no longer necessary to call or send a note or email to the school. The school is alerted automatically.

When the second semester begins on Jan. 16, all high school and middle school student absences, late arrivals, early dismissals and dismissal changes should be reported through SDM.
