North Hills Concludes Best Basketball Season In Team History

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — North Hills High School's boys basketball team made history this year by going 24-0 in the regular season finishing atop 6A Section 1 and making it to the WPIAL Championship game.

The team then advanced to the quarterfinal/Elite 8 round of the PIAA 6A Tournament, the furthest ever in school history, before falling to Archbishop Wood team 74-47 this week.

Six North Hills players earned Big 56 All-Section honors and head coach Buzz Gabos was named the 2022 Big 56 Boys' Basketball Coach of the Year in 6A Section 1.

North Hills loses four graduating seniors: Will Blass, Devin Burgess, Matt Seidl and Alex Smith.
