North Hills High School Students Invited To 'Paint Positive' In Support Of 'Hope'

North Hills High School students are invited to take part in the Positive Painting Project on Wednesday, March 23.

Painting will take place during periods 2, 5, 7 and 9. Students will paint images on canvases to then be screen printed with positive messages and displayed around the high school to increase conversation of belonging and awareness of mental health.

Students must sign up to participate using this link. Space is limited to the first 100 students who sign up.

The Painting Project was founded to honor the memory of Katie Whysong by encouraging and facilitating positive mental health with beautiful art. Katie was just 15 years old and a freshman at Fox Chapel Area High School when she tragically lost her battle with depression last March.
