North Hills Middle School Students Selling Bracelets To Support Ailing Classmate
Orange "Kenley Strong" bracelets are being sold at the school this week.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A group of North Hills Middle School seventh-graders are rallying around their good friend and classmate by holding a bracelet sale in her honor this week. Kenley McCurdy, also in seventh grade at the middle school, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this school year.
Orange “Kenley Strong” bracelets are being sold for $3 all week during seventh grade lunch and this Thursday and Friday, Oct. 27-28, in the main lobby from 7:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m.
All money collected from the bracelet sale will be donated to the Joey's Wings Foundation in Kenley’s name. The foundation, established in 2014 in the memory of Joey Xu, funds research and treatment options focused on kidney cancers impacting both children and adults, provides support to families impacted by childhood cancer and raises awareness.
