North Hills Mourns Death Of Retired Ross Police Officer
Ross residents are bidding farewell to a beloved former member of the township police department.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — For nearly four decades, Thomas Koedel served Ross residents as a member of the township police department. Those residents as well as the police force are paying tribute to the retired Ross officer following his death on May 22.
Officer Koedel, 73, died of complications from diabetes.
Officer Koedel served as the department's firearms instructor and armorer.

"Tom was a Ross Township resident and he remained active in both his community and the police department even after his retirement in 2010," a post on the Ross police department Facebook page stated. "Tom was always a guy you could go to for an answer."
Arrangements are being handled by the Bock Funeral Home in Glenshaw.
