North Hills School District Prepping For 5th Annual Trunk-Or-Treat

Get the details here on the district's fifth annual Halloween celebration.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA —North Hills School District's 5th annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Oct. 21 at the hilltop campus shared by the middle and high schools.

The event, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. will feature trick-or-treating at trunks decorated by various students, school and community groups, games, a pumpkin carving contest, raffles, food and more. Costumes are strongly recommended.

There is no cost to attend but donations will be collected for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in memory of former North Hills student Jake Wudarczyk. He was a junior at North Hills when he passed away in December 2016 following a 20-month battle

The district is seeking groups and community organizations to sign up to participate by decorating a trunk or table, as well as donations for the concession stand and basket raffle. All baskets are due by Oct. 18. Concession stand items should be dropped off at the high school by 3 p.m. on Oct. 20.
