The addition to the school is nearing completion. Find out here when it will be done.

WEST VIEW, PA— The ambitious $38 million expansion of West View Elementary School in the North Hills School District is nearing completion. The new addition, located along Chalfonte Avenue, will include the school’s new main entrance as well as an open stairwell that will connect all three floors.
Large glass windows have been installed along the front of the addition, where the main office and principals’ offices will be located.
On the top floor, several classrooms and the new library have also framed. The library will be located directly in front people as they come up the staircase. A hallway to the left will take people to several new classrooms.

The new addition is expected to be completed in January, but the entire project is far from finished. Much more work is still to be done on currently unrenovated parts of the building and that will begin next year once the addition is complete.
