Ross Woman Seriously Injured In Peters Township Crash
The two-car crash closed Valleybrook Road in Peters Township for more than an hour Saturday night. The other driver was not hurt, according to police.

Valleybrook Road in Peters Township was closed for more than an hour Saturday night following a two-car crash that sent a Ross woman to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Peters Township police Capt. Michael Yanchak said the two cars were heading in the opposite direction when they collided shortly before 6 p.m. in the 300 block of Valleybrook Road, near the Opeka Auto Repair shop.
The driver of an eastbound car, identified as Ellen J. Caruso, 61, of Ross Township, was trapped in her car and suffered serious injuries, Yanchak said. She had to be airlifted by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital, Yanchak said.

The driver of a westbound car, identified as John Breiding, 17, of McMurray, who was traveling west, was not hurt.
The road was closed for more than an hour while police investigated the crash.
