Why go: This dinner benefits the Cat Angel Network of Pottstown. Student leaders at MCCC will host the dinner in honor of Henry “Hank” Rymarowicz. The meal includes a choice of veggie or meat lasagna, bread, salad, beverage and dessert. Take-out meals are also available after 4:30 p.m.

Where/When: Ursinus College, 785 E. Main St., Collegeville, Bomberger Auditorium; Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Why go: World-renowned saxophonist Denis DiBlasio, former musical director for Maynard Ferguson, will perform in concert. He has jammed with some of the biggest names in jazz.

Where/When: Montgomery County Community College, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell; Feb. 18, 8 p.m.
Why go: The performance features Spanish music and dance, including ballet and Flamenco, starring more than 40 dancers, singers, musicians and artists.
Pricing: $25 general admission, $20 students and seniors, $10 children, available online

Where/When: Perkiomen Valley Middle School West, 220 Big Road, Zieglerville; Feb. 18
Why go: Perkiomen Valley High School will hold a jazz band competition at Perkiomen Valley Middle School West.

Where/When: Limerick Bowl, 653 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick; Feb. 19, and every Saturday, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Why go: The lights go down, music goes up and fog rolls in. Glow Bowling is for all ages. Advanced reservations are recommended, due to popularity.
Pricing: $9.95, includes two hours of unlimited bowling and show rental.
