Viewfinder: Collegeville Irish Shop

The store helps PV residents "go green" on St. Patrick's Day.

The registers at the Irish Shop were ringing Thursday as its "second Christmas"—as co-owner Mike Connolly puts it—was well under way.

The store, which has been at its Main Street location in Collegeville for a little more than three years, is crammed with practically every "Irish" item one can fathom.

Clothes (tees, knit sweaters, wool hats, socks and scarves), china, jewelry, food, glasses, books and CDs are just some of the merchandise available on St. Patrick's Day, and the rest of the year.
