Bowl to Benefit Washington County School Programs

Do you like to bowl?

Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania's Washington and Greene County Chapter is hosting its annual Bowl-A-Thon—the organization's largest fundraiser—on Thursday at The Meadows Lanes at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in North Strabane.

Proceeds from the event will support JA's financial literacy courses and the new Careers in Energy program at the , Canon-McMillan, Trinity, Charleroi, Burgettstown, Fort Cherry, Jefferson Morgan and Central Greene school districts.     

Corporate teams and event sponsorships are currently available in ranges from $100 to $500. The event starts at 6 p.m., but organizers said participants are welcome to come early to warm up.
