Free Air Force Jazz Band Concert Tonight

The event is sponsored by Peters Township Character Counts, and will also commence a collection drive for deployed soldiers.

Who doesn't love free music and an effort for the troops?

The United States Air Force Jazz Ensemble will perform in the  auditorium tonight at 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by Character Counts.

The night is also an effort to support our troops. The evening will commence a collection drive for deployed soldiers (mostly in Afghanistan). Donations for Operation Troop Appreciation will be accepted via collection box.

Character Counts and Boy Scout Troop 1320 are working with OTA on the drive. "The boy scouts were interested in doing something for the soldiers, hence this 'wish list' is from them," said Rita Reo, service project coordinator.

Starting Monday through May 11, collection boxes will be located at all schools within , and the .
