PUC to Peters: There is "Little" to Be Done About Wind Damage

The department said that the trees that fell due to high winds in January were outside West Penn's Right of Way.

The Public Utilities Commission told Peters Township last month that there was little it could do regarding trees that fell as a result of high winds from a late January storm.

According to a letter sent to the township, the trees that fell during the storm in January were outside the company's right of way.

According to that letter, the township may file an appeal of the decision, and residential customers may file damage claims with the department.
