Ramp Closures in Washington County

PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists of ramp closures and traffic pattern changes as the South Junction project on Interstate 70 and Interstate 79 project continues. These changes will be in place starting on October 27, 8 p.m. through Nov. 4, 6 a.m.

Ramp from Interstate 70 EB to Interstate 79 SB – Will be closednightly from 8 pm to 6 am.

Detour: Interstate 70 EB to Exit 25, Right on to Route 519 SB, Right on to Route 40 WB, Left on to Interstate 79 SB.

Ramp from Interstate 79 NB to Interstate 70 EB – Will be closed from Oct. 27 continually through Nov. 4.

Detour: Interstate 79 NB to Exit 33, Left on to Route 40 EB, Left on to Route 519 NB, Right on to Interstate 70 EB

Motorists are always reminded to pay close attention and heed directions on work zone warning signs. Signs and work zone flaggers save lives.
