Rapper Wiz Khalifa Buys Canonsburg Area House

Wiz Khalifa, the Pittsburgh rapper known for his anthem 'Black and Yellow,' settles down in Canonsburg.

Perry Como has been honored with a statue outside the Canonsburg borough building. And everyone knows Bobby Vinton sang, "Roses Are Red." 

Now there’s reason to change tunes.

Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa, known for his 2010 hit “Black and Yellow,” purchased a five bedroom, four bathroom house in Canonsburg, the website TMZ reported early Wednesday morning.

The nearly $1 million purchase puts the rapper square in Steelers territory—and adds another commercially successful musician to Canonsburg’s residential history.
