Washington County's 'Extreme Couponing' Stars to Share Cost-Saving Tips at W&J
The event will be held at 5 p.m. today.

Chris and Ashley Duff of Monongahela, stars of “Extreme Couponing”—one of the most buzz-worthy shows on the popular channel TLC—are coming to Washington & Jefferson College to share their techniques and expertise in saving money at the store.
The Duffs, winners of the spin-off show, “Extreme Couponing All-Stars,” will provide a public lecture at 5 p.m. today in the Howard J. Burnett Center’s Yost Auditorium—just a short drive from the area.
They will be discussing the best couponing methods, how to save money, where to find the best coupons, how they got started and why they give back to the community, according to Steve Anderson, W&J’s associate dean of student life.

“What is different about Chris and Ashley is that they donate most of their goods to the Greater Washington County Food Bank, whereas most on the show created endless stockpiles of groceries and supplies,” Anderson said.
The Duffs’ visit is sponsored by the W&J Student Hunger Task Force. The event is free and open to the public.
