1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Pittsburgh-Area Shooting

Gunfire that erupted in a Pittsburgh suburb late Thursday killed one man and wounded another.

PENN HILLS, PA — Allegheny County police are investigating a Thursday night shooting in Penn Hills that left one man dead and another man wounded.

County 911 was notified of the shooting in the 200 block of Universal Road at 11:49 p.m. First responders found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as Vanderlee Stevenson, 21.

As police processed the scene, a second man arrived at an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. He was last listed in stable investigation.

The investigation is ongoing. No suspects had been arrested as of Friday morning.
