1 Dead In Westmoreland Co. School Van, Tractor-Trailer, SUV Crash
A fatal wreck involving a school van, a tractor-trailer and an SUV occurred in the Pittsburgh area Friday morning.
WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA — One person was killed Friday morning in a crash involving a school van, a tractor trailer and an SUV in Salem Township.
Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers said the crash occurred just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 819.
The driver of the van, a woman, died in the crash.

No students were reported to be on the van, which was to transport Greensburg Salem School District students.
The driver of the SUV, a 17-year-old Greensburg Salem student, was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
