1 Dead In Pittsburgh-Area Shooting
A man died Monday after being shot in a suburban Pittsburgh community. Get the details here.
STOWE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are searching for a suspect in the shooting death of a Stowe man on Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the 400 block of Pleasant Ridge Road at 3:20 p.m., where they found a man wounded by gunfire. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital a short time later.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as James Nelson Jr., 42.

Shortly after the shooting, a SWAT team was summoned to search for a suspect inside a nearby home but he was not located. Police have not publicly identified the suspect.
