1 Dead In Multi-Vehicle Pittsburgh Parkway Crash
A man was killed Monday in a chain-reaction crash on the Parkway East.
PITTSBURGH, PA — One person died early Monday in a multi-vehicle crash on the Parkway East.
Pennsylvania State Troopers responded to the four-vehicle crash near the Squirrel Hill Tunnel shortly before 2 a.m.
Police said the driver of a Corvette slammed into the back of a Honda Civic while traffic was stopped because of the temporary closure of the tunnel. The Civic was pushed into two other vehicles.

The driver of the Civic was taken to the hospital where he later died. The victim was identified as Landon Ray.
The parkway was shut down at the inbound Edgewood-Swissvale exit until 5:45 a.m., according to PennDOT.
