ALIQUIPPA, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Beaver sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million for the Dec. 24 drawing. With no jackpot winner for the Tuesday drawing, the jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $1.15 billion, or $516.1 million cash, for the next drawing on Friday.
The $1 million-winning ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 11-14-38-45-46, but not the yellow Mega Ball 3, to win $1 million.
The Sunoco on Pleasant Drive in Aliquippa will receive a $5,000 selling bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
Winning tickets purchased at a lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed.

More than 237,200 other PA Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 42,600 tickets purchased with Megaplier.
The jackpot has been rolling since it was last won on Sept. 10 when a single ticket in Texas won a grand prize of $810 million. If the jackpot is won at $1.15 billion, it will be the fifth-largest prize in the history of the game.
In Pennsylvania, this recent jackpot run has generated more than $60 million in sales, creating a profit of more than $24 million to benefit older Pennsylvanians.
The current Mega Millions record jackpot is $1.602 billion, which was sold in Florida in August 2023. The last time a Mega Millions jackpot was won in Pennsylvania was on May 21, 2021.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
