1 Person Killed, 5 Hurt In Pittsburgh-Area Crash
A violent collision left one person dead and five others injured Tuesday night
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a head-on collision Tuesday night that left one person dead and five others injured.
The accident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Old 71 in Fallowfield Township near the Mon-Fayette Expressway.
The Washington County coroner told WTAE-TV that a vehicle crossed the road's center line and hit the other vehicle. The person killed was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

The victim's name and age have not been released.
The five people injured were taken to area hospitals, some via helicopter. Their conditions were not available Wednesday morning.
