16-Year-Old Killed In Pittsburgh Shooting: Police

The teen suffered gunshot wounds to the head, chest and right arm, and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A 16-year-old was killed overnight in Middle Hill, according to Pittsburgh police.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. Sunday to the 300 block of Addison Street after receiving a ShotSpotter alert for 11 rounds, police said.

They found the teen on the ground outside with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, chest and right arm, according to police, who said the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are reviewing footage of the area and detectives are investigating, police said.
