2 Found Shot To Death In Car After Pittsburgh Crash
A child was found in the back seat of the vehicle in which two people were shot to death, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people were found shot to death Thursday night in a vehicle with a child in the back seat, police said.
Pittsburgh police, fire and EMS were dispatched to the 5200 block of Dearborn Street in Garfield at around 8 p.m. for reports of a vehicle into a parked car collision with possible entrapment.
They found that a sedan had collided head-on with a parked SUV while traveling eastbound. A woman was found just outside the driver's door and a man was found in the front passenger seat. Both had fatal gunshot wounds to the head.

Also in the vehicle was a young child approximately two years old. He did not appear to have suffered any injuries and was taken to Children's Hospital in stable condition for medical evaluation.
Witnesses reported a man had fled the scene after the collision.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene, including shell casings and footage from nearby doorbell cameras.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
The investigation is ongoing.
