2 Injured In Pittsburgh-Area Shooting Incident

HOMESTEAD, PA — Allegheny County police are investigating a shooting incident that left two men injured on Monday.

At 5:41 p.m., county 911 was notified of shots being fired in a residence in the 1700 block of McClure Street. First responders found a man with a lower leg injury suffered when he jumped out of a window during the shooting. He was not struck by gunfire, but was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A short time later, a gunshot wound victim arrived at a local hospital via private means and said he was shot in Homestead at the same location. The man had been shot in the face and abdomen and also is in stable condition.

The preliminary investigation indicates the two injured men had been shooting at each other in the residence.

Police did not indicate if charges have been filed.
