2 Killed, 2 Hurt In Wrong-Way Pittsburgh Parkway Crash
A wrong-way crash on the Parkway East claimed two lives Sunday night, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people were killed and two others were injured on a wrong-way crash on the Parkway East Sunday night.
Pennsylvania State Police said the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. near the Allegheny County Jail. A Chevy Silverado traveling east in the westbound lanes collided with a Nissan Frontier.
The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Nissan was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the passenger as Sharon Orlofske, 77, of Monroeville. The identity of the driver has yet to be released.
Two men in the Chevy were taken to the hospital. Their conditions were unknown Monday morning.
