2 Legendary Steelers Pro Football Hall Of Fame Semifinalists
You'll instantly recognize the names of two former Steelers named Pro Football Hall of Fame semifinalists Wednesday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pro Football Hall of Fame unveiled a list of 25 semifinalists for induction this year and two Steelers greats are on it.
Wide receiver Hines Ward and linebacker James Harrision made the latest cut from the 167 candidates who were announced in September. It's Ward's ninth time as a semifinalist and Harrison's third.
Ward played his entire career for the Steelers, from 1998-2011. Harrison played for the team from 2002-2012 and 2014-17; he played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017 and the New England Patriots in 2017.

The semifinalists list will be whittled to 15 by year's end, and the Hall of Fame's Class of 2025 will be announced at NFL Honors in New Orleans in February. Between four and eight new members will be selected.
Those selected will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canton, OH In August.
