2 Stabbed In Downtown Pittsburgh
Two people were stabbed in a robbery attempt in Downtown Pittsburgh Sunday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A man and a woman have been hospitalized after being stabbed in Downtown Pittsburgh Sunday night.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, police were dispatched to Bigelow Square at Chatham Street just before 8 p.m. The victims said they were in an adjacent park when a man approached them and demanded money. They were stabbed after they refused.
The man suffered wounds to his chin and leg, while the woman had a wound to her arm. Both were taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was detained at the scene. He also sustained wounds to his leg and was taken to the hospital by Pittsburgh EMS in stable condition.
Charges are forthcoming.
