2 Winter Storms Taking Aim At Pittsburgh Area
If you like snow, you'll be pleased with the weather in Pittsburgh over the next several days.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Get out the ice melt and keep the shovel handy. Back-to-back winter storms are expected to bring accumulating snow to Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service says snow will spread through the region overnight and continue into Friday morning, with 1 to 3 inches expected. That could result in hazardous travel conditions impacting the morning commute.
The widespread snow will transition to snow showers Friday afternoon into Friday night. Some of the snow showers could form heavy bands or possible squalls, with reduced visibility and rapid accumulation of snow on roads resulting in hazardous travel conditions.
