21 Injured In School Bus Crash In Beaver County: Reports
Reports said the bus was transporting football players from Aliquippa Junior High School.

BEAVER COUNTY, PA — Several people were injured Saturday when a school bus carrying junior high football players crashed in Beaver County, according to multiple reports.
Police and fire crews responded to the 190 block of Shaffer Road in Economy after a bus carrying students, parents and staff from the Aliquippa Junior High School crashed just before 10 a.m., WTAE reported, citing a statement from Beaver County EMS.
According to CBS Pittsburgh, 28 people were on the bus at the time of the crash. Reports said 21 people suffered injuries. The severity of their injuries was unknown.

In a post on Facebook, the Aliquippa Junior High School football team said the scene was clear around 11 a.m.
"Please take a moment to send a thought or prayer for each player or coach that was traveling this morning," the team wrote.

The bus sustained front-end damage in the crash, reports said. Multiple power lines and poles were also down in the area following the collision.
