22-Vehicle Crash Occurs On Heavily Traveled Pittsburgh Road

PITTSBURGH, PA — A crash involving 22 vehicles occurred Thursday morning on the Boulevard of the Allies ramp leading to the Forbes Avenue ramp coming off the Parkway East eastbound in Oakland.

The crash happened shortly before 6:30 a.m.

Five people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and a number of vehicles are being towed.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said drivers should be aware of traffic delays in the area and should drive with caution as roadways are reported to be icy and slick this morning.
