2nd Pittsburgh Girl In 3 Days Dies In Bike-Car Crash
A Pittsburgh-area girl died Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle while on her bike.
PITTSBURGH, PA — An 11-year-old girl riding her bike was struck and killed by a vehicle in Harrison Township Tuesday night.
The girl was hit by the vehicle along Kuntz Street around 7:30 p.m., according to Allegheny County police. First responders performed life-saving measures on the girl but she died at the scene.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the girl as Roxanne Bonnoni.

The driver remained on the scene. It's unclear if any charges will be filed.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.

Tuesday's incident is the second in three days in the Pittsburgh area in which a girl was killed while riding her bike. On Sunday, Courtney Carter, 9, died after being struck by a vehicle on Rosedale Street near Tacoma Street in the city's Homewood South neighborhood.
