2nd Pittsburgh Restaurant This Week Closes Without Warning

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings location on Mackenzie Way in Cranberry has permanently closed.

"Our Cranberry location has closed. Browse nearby locations to continue enjoying coal-fired favorites," a short message on the Anthony's website stated.

The website lists the three other Anthony's locations in the Pittsburgh area - in McMurray, Monroeville and Settler's Ridge in Robinson - as open.

Several other Anthony's locations in Pennsylvania are closing as the chain's parent company, BurgerFi, goes through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.

Anthony's is the second chain restaurant to abruptly go under this week. Joe's Crab Shack in Station Square abruptly shut down on Sunday.
