4 Dead In PA House Fire

Four people died Sunday in a blaze in a Pennsylvania community. Patch provides the details.

LEBANON, PA — A birthday celebration turned deadly here Sunday as a fire at a residence claimed four lives.

Three of the victims were minors.

According to the city of Lebanon's Facebook page, firefighters were dispatched to the Church Street residence at 8:43 a.m. and advised that people were trapped inside the building where a birthday party occurred.

Initially, three people were found and transported to an area hospital. The blaze then forced firefighters to withdraw from the building, where they later recovered two additional people.

Four people died, one remains in critical condition.

The victims who died were 1, 4, 17 and 73 years old.

Their names have yet to be released.

The fire originated from an electrical outlet in the first-floor living room and has been ruled accidental in nature. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
