7 Pittsburgh Companies Rank Among World's Best: Time
Time has released its 2024 list of the world's top 1,000 companies. Find out here which ones from Pittsburgh made the cut.
PITTSBURGH, PA —Seven corporations headquartered in Pittsburgh are among the 1,000 included in Time's World's Best Companies Of 2024 list.
Time and Statista partnered to create the rankings, released this week and scored based on a formula of employee-satisfaction surveys; revenue growth; and environmental, social, and corporate governance data.
No one sector dominated. Though tech companies accounted for six of the top 20 positions and four of the top 10, a German automaker, BMW Group, ranked fourth.

The world's number one company was Apple, with an overall score of 97.75.
