Advance Auto Parts Closing 700 Stores: See PA Locations
The auto parts retailer is significantly reducing its footprint across the country.
PENNSYLVANIA — Advance Auto Parts is closing more than 700 locations nationwide as part of what the company calls "a strategic plan to improve business performance with a focus on core retail improvements."
The company made the announcement Thursday after releasing a lower than anticipated earnings report.
Advance Auto Parts said it is shuttering about 500 corporate-owned stores and another 200 independently operated locations, as well as four distribution centers. All of the closures are expected to occur by mid-2025.
