Argument Over House Cleanliness Leads To Fatal Pittsburgh Shooting

A dispute over the cleanliness of a residence led to a deadly Pittsburgh shooting Monday.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two people have been charged in connection with a fatal shooting in the South Side Slopes Monday that police say resulted from an argument over the cleanliness of a home.

Police were called to a house on Sharon Street at Mount Oliver Street for a reported shooting just before 4:25 p.m. They found a man with a gunshot wound to the back. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died a short time later.

The victim was identified as Eddie Kimber.

Police said the shooting occurred during an altercation between roommates over the cleanliness of the residence.

Lee Tyler McGinnis, 24, is charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy, aggravated assault and persons not to possess. Destiny Jenkins, 23, is charged with criminal homicide and criminal conspiracy.

Both are being housed in the county jail. Preliminary hearing dates for the pair had not been scheduled as of Tuesday morning.
