ALIQUIPPA, PA — A third person has been charged in connection with the brutal beating and strangling of a man at the Penn Avenue VFW in January.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Ireland Brown, 21, of Ambridge, who was tending bar when the assault occurred. She has been charged with three felonies - liability for conduct of another, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and hindering prosecution - and a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence.

The charges stem from the unprovoked attack on Preston Coleman III, 52, who had to be life-flighted to an area hospital after the prolonged beating and strangling occurred.
